ANT-Australia is established on 1st October 2008. It is completely a non-profit, non-political, non-religious organization. It does not focus on any particular religion, culture, language etc as it is well known that the Terai region of Nepal has its own identity of having variety of cultures, customs, and religion.

Our main objective is to promote the identity of Terai and teraians, awareness of different languages and cultural heritage of Terai.

Holi

For the very first time Nepalse in Sydney celebrated the color and joyful festival Holi. ANT-Australia believes the term "UNITY IN DIVERSITY" . So, it is been celebrating diffrent festivals rejoiced by the various communities of Nepalese in Terai.
People come to the celebration party inspite fo their busy schedule abd get coloured themselves in the colours of HOLI. They were glad for getting opportunity to enjoy NEpali festival in foreign ground. Participation of more than hundred people indicated the huge success of the celebration organized by ANT-Australia.

Support to the Bushfire Victims.

ANT- Australia has decided to participate in the donation programme initiated by NRN Australia and all other Nepalese Communities. ANT- Australia is going to raise a fund from its members and non-members to help the Victorian Bushfire Victims. ANT- Australia appeals to all members and non-members to put ahead their helping hands for this donation programme. ANT-Australia is deeply grieved to see this disaster and have sympathy to the victims of bushfire and Victorian people. We show our heartfelt condolence to the family who have lost their loved one.

Chhath Festival

It is well known that Chhath is the greatest festival of Hindus, especially Madhesis, of the Terai in Nepal. As ANT-Australia focuses the Terai region of Nepal it celebrated the Chhath festival on the 8th of Nov, 2008 at Tempe Park. The main aim of this party was to make everyone aware about the Chhath festival and preserve the Nepalese culture even in Australia.

Opening Ceremony and EID Celebration

ANT-Australia was born on the 1st October 2008. But officially it celebrated an opening ceremony and Muslim's EID festive on the 4th of October 2008 at Tempe park, to preserve Nepalese teraian culture and, as well as to express great appreciation to the members. All the members and the guest participated in the celebration showed their eager and interest towards the organization’s growth and development.
